GUIDED Mindfulness MEDITATION
Mindfulness is the awareness that arises from paying attention to the present moment and accepting it without judgement. Research shows that regular practice supports the integrative functions of the prefrontal cortex: areas linked to the regulation of the body, emotional stability, interpersonal attunement, response flexibility and self-knowledge.
Meditation practice supports the development of awareness, an awareness that the Western term mindfulness does not fully convey. The original word, from the Buddhist tradition, is "Sati", and it has to do not only with fullness of mind but also with fullness of heart.
We can lead ourselves to trust fully in our capacity to be free, right here where we are, wherever we go and whatever we find ourselves facing.

Therapeutic approach
Mindfulness within a somatic approach offers an innovative, integrated way to improve psychophysical wellbeing. Through breathing techniques, meditation and mindful movement, it is possible to cultivate a deeper connection with your own body.
Bringing the Body into the Work
Including the body in the work means transforming the therapeutic model, going beyond purely verbal approaches. Somatic psychology explores how the body expresses painful experiences, encouraging integration between mind and body. This approach is particularly useful when working with trauma, where the body may show signals and symptoms that are often overlooked.
Somatic Awareness and Mindfulness
Mindfulness, combined with somatic techniques, offers a path of somatic awareness that gives access to parts of ourselves that often remain unexpressed. This process helps us become aware of any blocks, understanding and transforming them.
The somatic approach assumes that mind and body are in constant interaction. Emotions show themselves through bodily expressions and in movement, in a space beyond words where we can come into contact with our most authentic feelings. We can express who we are in our psychophysical unity and, through the dialogue of movement, observe and listen to our emotions, make inner movements visible and allow our being to express its unique identity, bringing its parts into harmony.

Dance movement therapy – DMT
A healthy, whole perception of ourselves needs to be rooted in good bodily presence and awareness, and in the pleasant feeling of being well and at ease in our own body.

Movement meditation
Movement meditation has a sacred and individual character, because it allows us to reconnect with ancestral gestures, in contact with the unknown forces of nature that govern both outer and inner worlds.
Developing body awareness can help us live more fully and open up space for awareness and freedom.
